Come join the 100 Acts of Kindness Project for 2014 hosted by Toddler Approved and Coffee Cups and Crayons! You can sign up for our newsletter here.
Little kids love to give, share, and make other people feel happy.
Inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. we love to host the 100 Acts of Kindness Challenge each year. You can read more about previous challenges and the history of our challenge on our 100 Acts of Kindness 2013 challenge post.
Our goal is to do small and simple acts of kindness in our homes, neighborhoods, communities that help teach our kids that no act of kindness is too small. Everyone can be kind. Everyone can make a difference.
We hope you'll join us this year by pledging to accomplish 100 Acts of Kindness during our 26 day challenge.
100 Acts of Kindness Challenge details:
- The challenge starts on Monday, January 20th (Martin Luther King Jr. Day, which is a holiday in the US)
- The challenge ends with a giant kindness celebration on Friday, February 14th (Valentine's Day!)
- You'll get a kindness challenge each week along with other fun suggested kindness themed crafts and activities. You can find some of the previous posts (and other great kindness resources) on our 100 Acts of Kindness pinterest board.
- Activities will be toddler and preschooler appropriate, though many can be adapted for kids of all ages.
You can sign up for our 100 Acts of Kindness Newsletter to get the weekly challenges and other cool resources!
We will even be inviting some of our blogging friends to share some special kindness themed posts with you. Make sure to sign up for the newsletter so you don't miss anything (not everything will be posted on our blogs and several things will be exclusive for newsletter subscribers).
I am so excited to have Megan from Coffee Cups and Crayons as my co-host this year! She is the kindness queen and has so many great ideas over on her blog. She is also such a thoughtful and kind friend, mom, and blogger. If you don't follow her blog already, head over there now. Make sure you go check out her acts of kindness resources too!
The first 100 Acts of Kindness newsletter will be sent out this weekend, so don't forget to sign up! If you're joining in this year I'd love for you to comment and let me know too. I can't wait!
Our group found this last year after it had already started, and the kids had soo much fun doing this project! Thank you for helping to teach our kids about Kindness.
We found this last year, in the middle of the 100 acts, but our group of kiddo's at The Kendergarden had soo much fun doing this! Thank you for sharing kindness!
I'm looking forward to joining in again, too! My adult kids and kids-in-law will be participating with me, and my daughter and I have some special plans for our part. 🙂
Yay Deb! So glad you are joining in. I just messaged you about this actually. Can't wait to see what your special plans are!
Looking forward to joining this project again this year Kristina and Megan! Excited about your 100 Acts of Kindness Newsletter! Can't wait to see what everyone shares.
