After only four days of school this week I was so ready for the weekend! Waking up early and getting my son (plus my other two kiddos... and ME!) out the door and to kindergarten drop off on time has been a shock to my system. I am a big fan of lazy mornings where we craft and play in pjs.
This weekend I've been looking for fun things to do with my kids that allow us to connect. If you're in that same boat, here are a few simple play ideas for you to try with your kids.
Play the Tape Path Game
Do some Fall Leaf Baggie Painting
(since September means it is Fall, right? :))
Set up some Paper Plate Mailboxes
Create some simple shape pictures

PS... have you watched this video yet? It gives me goosebumps every time I see it and gets me totally pumped up at the same time.

Thanks for posting this. We've had a great weekend break from Kindergarten. I think we're going to try some of these ideas to relax (in our pjs) this AM. It's a shock to our system too but it's nice to think we still have weekends and breaks to enjoy relaxing with our kids!
