We had another wonderful week at our house. It has been in the 70s/80s over here, so I am definitely feeling like it should not be almost Halloween! Crazy! Anyways, I'm so excited to share a few blogs with you today that I have been loving. A few are ones that I've been reading for awhile, and one or two are blogs that I just discovered.

EJ introduced me to Chasing Cheerios a few years ago and I love it. There are always a lot of fun and educational ideas to check out... especially Montessori inspired ones. Today they shared this darling Halloween felt board, which is such a great creative activity and also provides lots of opportunities for conversation/language practice.

I read I Can Teach My Child pretty much every day. The ideas vary from squeezable finger paint to parenting strategies to thematic units about transportation. I loved the recent Learning to Dial 911 free printable. I Can Teach My Child also hosts a weekly link up called Show-and-Share-Saturday where I love to go browse and pin activities and art projects.

I aspire to be an awesome Room Mom. I seriously think someone needs to make a movie called "Room Mom"... there definitely have to be some good stories to tell 🙂 Back to the point, I love this website. I just discovered it back at the end of August and I have been sharing it with friends who are Room Moms this year. It has a great collection of ideas that are so fun. Most can easily be used at home or in a classroom. Definitely go check out this website!

This Kids Activities Blog is always hopping with ideas. Rachel makes me tired just thinking about all of the fun things she does with her kids... in addition to keeping up with her busy life! I love how easy it is to navigate this blog and what a wonderful range of activities it has. I love her recent post filled with activities for 3-year-olds... since we have one of those at our house! The Quirky Momma team is comprised of several other great moms and their mission is to have a lot of fun with their little ones! They also help co-host Its Playtime each week and do a phenomenal job. Click on over and start exploring!

The Play On Words blog is part of Play on Words LLC, which was started by Sherry, a speech language pathologist, writer, and toy consultant. I love reading her toy reviews, but most specifically love her website for the wealth of information it provides about language and play. I love her post about the Best Educational Toys to Build Language and her post, Toys: An Inventory Kid's Fun to Get Work Done (all about organizing your child's play space). I could go on and on. Her blog is packed full of great info. I highly recommended stopping by and spending some time digging through her archives.
I am so inspired just thinking about these five fabulous blogs! I hope you'll take some time to go and check them out and let me know what you discover.
As always, please pass along any favorite blogs that you have found. I always love to check them out and add new ones to my long long list.
Hope you enjoyed your weekends. Mine was not long enough! Have a fabulous Monday!
Great post! My kids would love these blogs. I could use them alongside my recent purchase of digital books for children.
