Today I am so excited to kick off our third year of Virtual Book Club for Kids and announce the authors and books we will be featuring this school year!!
Virtual Book Club for Kids is a free online book group for families that features a new author each month! I co-host Virtual Book Club for Kids each month with Cerys from Rainy Day Mum and Kim from The Educators' Spin On It along with a wonderful group of blogging friends that I will introduce to you next week!
In addition to featuring a new author each month, this year we will be sharing THREE of our favorite books by that author along with several book inspired activities for kids! We would love to invite you to join us as we create and connect with books this year!
This year Virtual Book Club for Kids will be held on the second Thursday of every month.
Our activities will be geared towards kids ages 2-6 but many can be adapted for younger or older children. Scroll down to see how you can participate.
Our featured authors for 2014-2015 are...

What a great list! We can't wait to get reading!
This looks wonderful for all 3 of my daughters- first grade, 4 1/2, 1! Thanks!
What a great list! I use quite a lot of these books to teach English to very young learners and my own children. Can't wait to see the ideas that will come up. 🙂
This is great. I'm homeschooling preschool with my twin boys and need fresh ideas. We love books. We will be joining for sure. 🙂
Am taking this up! Though my daughter is just 15 months old, she shows a great deal of interest in books and I keep bringing her new books from the library. This is a great way to introduce new authors to her though I doubt I can do any activity with her!
Yeah, so excited to see this post. One of my goals for this year is to be more purposeful about choosing the books ahead of time. Looking forward to seeing all the fun posts!
A super exciting line-up. Can't wait to participate!
