I have been thoroughly enjoying screen free week this week… not so much for me, but definitely for the kids.
I think our friends Dora and Diego are going to be off indefinitely (unless we are traveling long distances in the car or on a place). Not that we watch that much TV, but everything seems to be going better at our house with screens off!
How about at your house?
Here are a few pics from screen free week…
We went running through the park sprinklers, built towers with recycled materials, hung out in the car a lot waiting for my son to be done with activities, and created our own version of “cut the rope” (my son loves the game).
To be honest, the week hasn’t been too different than normal other than no iPad time for the kids and little to no internet time for me during the day. Naptime has become so much more productive!
I love the quote above because it is exactly how I’ve felt this week. Sitting and hanging out with my kids (not checking Facebook on my phone or writing emails, etc.) has felt wonderful. I know all the extra attention I’ve given my kids has been incredibly worthwhile! I hope you found some time to unplug and connect this week too!
Have a great Friday! If you have a moment to link up a favorite post from this week, stop by our Friday Kid’s Co-op Linky below:
