A month or two ago I created some Truck Shape Pattern Puzzles that my son loved! We are always looking for independent or semi guided practice activities that we can do related to shapes... so today I created a few Easter Shape Puzzles using ovals, triangles, squares, rectangles, and trapezoids. So far I have only made a pattern for a bunny, chick, and carrot. I'll probably make a few more if they become a favorite activity for my little guy. I have posted the pdf file here if you are interested in downloading these. I'll post any others that I create. I think the rectangles are probably too small on the carrot, but I'm going to try it out and see.

Basic directions:
1. Print out pattern cards and pattern pieces onto cardstock.
2. Cut out pattern pieces
3. Place (or glue) pattern pieces onto the pattern cards to create the Easter shape. (We like to glue them on because otherwise they move around too much. You could also laminate the cards and puzzle pieces and then velcro them together.)

If you'd prefer a version without color, let me know and I can post that online too.
Enjoy! If you missed the link above, here are the puzzles: Easter Shape Pattern Puzzles
